• Shorts and pants with original tags attached
• T-shirts and sweatshirts in original packaging
• Accessories including hats and bags
• Limited edition and collaboration pieces

Non-Returnable Items

• Items worn or washed
• Products with removed tags or labels
• Customized or personalized items
• Final sale or clearance items
• Items damaged by customer use

Return Process

Refund Information

Refund Processing Times

• Credit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
• PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
• Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days after processing
• Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days after processing

Refund Policy Details

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot process refunds to different payment methods or accounts for security reasons.

Exchanges

Size Exchanges

Need a different size? We offer free size exchanges within Germany for the same item in a different size, subject to availability.

Color/Style Exchanges

Want to try a different color or style? Exchanges for different products are processed as a return and new purchase to ensure accurate pricing.

Exchange Process

1. Contact customer service specifying desired exchange
2. Follow standard return process for original item
3. We'll hold your preferred replacement for 7 days
4. New item ships once we receive your return

International Returns

For customers outside Germany who purchased from our German store:

• Same 30-day return window applies
• Customer responsible for return shipping costs
• Items must clear customs without additional fees
• Processing may take additional 5-10 business days
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Defective or Damaged Items

Quality Guarantee

All Denim Tears products are inspected before shipping. If you receive a defective or damaged item, we'll make it right immediately.

Reporting Issues

Please report any quality issues within 7 days of delivery by emailing photos of the defect to our customer service team. We'll arrange immediate replacement or full refund plus return shipping.

Manufacturing Defects Covered

• Stitching problems or loose threads
• Print quality issues or fading
• Zipper or hardware malfunctions
• Fabric tears or holes
• Sizing inconsistencies beyond normal tolerance

Special Circumstances

Holiday Returns

Items purchased between November 15 - December 31 have an extended return window until January 31 of the following year.

Pre-Order Returns

Pre-order items can be cancelled anytime before shipping. Once shipped, standard return policy applies.

Gift Returns

Gift recipients can return items without original receipt. Refunds will be issued as store credit unless original purchase information is provided.

Policy Updates

This return and refund policy is effective as of January 2025 and may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. Customers will be notified of significant policy changes via email.
